Akabueze, Abdullahi Swap Positions In Presidency

Ben AkabuezeSpecial Adviser on Planning, Mr Ben Akabueze and Tijani Mohammed Abdullahi have swapped position in the Presidency.
According to a statement by special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, while Akabueze takes over from Abdullahi as Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation, Abdullahi moves into the office of Akabueze as Special Adviser to the President on Planning.
The statement which confirmed that the President has approved the swap, said that Abdullahi will work with the Minister of Budget and National Planning.
It said that both Akabueze and Abdullahi joined the Ministry of Budget and National Planning in February this year.
It said that their redeployment is part of an ongoing exercise aimed at further repositioning the Ministry to effectively deliver on its core mandate. [myad]
