Aviation Ministry Raises Alarm Over Planned Attacks On Lagos, Abuja, Other Airports

The Federal Ministry of Aviation has alerted the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria of planned attacks on airports across the country.

The airports, according to a memo addressed to airport security chiefs, are those in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri and Sokoto.

The memo, dated April 9, 2021, directed the security chiefs to submit a list of counter-measures, and also convene an urgent emergency meeting to “recommend appropriate measures.”
