Students Outside Nigeria Under NANS Diaspora Get Leaders

Students outside Nigeria, under the auspices of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Diaspora, an umbrella body of all Nigerian students of tertiary institutions, has gotten new set of leaders across the world.

They are Opeoluwa Seun Ojekemi (Turkish Zone) as ChairmanDalhatu Tijjani Yusha’u (Morocco Zone) as Vice chairmanMuhammad Abubakar (Uganda Zone) as SecretaryCharity E Aigbekaen (South Africa Zone) as Assistant secretary and Elizabeth Oluwafunmilayo Adebitan (Kenya Zone) as Public relations officer.

A statement from the Association today, August 31 said that the aims and objectives of the Association are to promote the general welfare of its members and have other activities, as well as to promote better relationships between the host Countries and Nigerians, especially unity among Students.

It is also aimed at fostering good relationship between the Countries of its member association and Nigerians, especially through sharing of information and ideas as well as to encourage interpersonal and personal growth especially through sharing of information and ideas.

The statement said that the association is also to unite Nigerian students in Diaspora globally so as to help each other in time of need as well as to be able to tackle and solve the challenges among the members.

It is also aimed at promoting developmental activities among the members of the society and encourage a singular voice amongst Nigeria students all over the world.
