Insecurity: Jonathan Points Accusing Finger At State Governors

Jonathan AngeyPresident Goodluck Jonathan has accused some state governors of producing breeding ground for the emergence of miscreants that are now causing security challenges to his administration.
He said the governors, whose names he did not mention, would have the guts to talk about good governance when they themselves are lacking in good governance, adding: “we are going to expose those bad ones soon.”
Addressing supporters at the North East zonal rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi today, Jonathan remarked that the governors allow children in their states to roam about without going to schools because they don’t provide conducive learning materials in the schools.
He stressed that Governors are bad leaders because they don’t send children to primary and secondary schools, adding: “state governors should be ashamed of themselves.
“People (governors) refuse to do their work thereby making it possible for army of uneducated youths to be vulnerable to all sort of criminal activities.”
President Jonathan said that the Federal Government will continue to create universities in each state to ensure adequate education for the youths, saying: “I have done my part.”
He said that the government is determined to confront the insecurity in the country, saying: “we must bring insecurity to a level where people can go freely with their normal businesses.”
While acknowledging that Boko Haram has been ravaging the North East, he also admitted that Kidnapping has been the lot of the South East while armed robbery is threatening South West.
The President said that
PDP will continue to rule this country and many more states because, according to him, 60 percent of real politicians in Nigeria are in PDP while other political parties make noises in media.
